Deformation-Displacement Array (DDA) Sensor - Engineered simulation-driven proof-of-concept for orthopedic scanning technology, combining hardware prototyping with advanced FEA modeling to validate custom orthotic solutions for patients with flat feet Key Achievements: • Engineered 16-pin sensor array prototype with Arduino microcontroller, linear potentiometers, and SD card data logging—designed and 3D-printed custom housing with compression springs to capture real-time deformation measurements from physical objects • Developed Python-based 3D visualization pipeline integrating iPhone LiDAR scanning with deformation data—created side-by-side comparison tools using Trimesh and Plotly to visualize original vs. deformed states with displacement heatmaps Skills: Finite Element Analysis (FEA), MATLAB Simulation & Visualization, Python (Trimesh, Plotly, Pandas, NumPy), Arduino Programming & Circuit Design, 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor), Houdini VFX Software
